Terms of use

Effective November 6, 2026. These terms apply only to Sacred Texts Code Backup, operated by Jim Marchbank for Youth Read Sacred Texts Worldwide.

Authorized use

The tool is intended for administrators authorized to back up the designated Sacred Texts Apps Script project. It is not a public registration service. Authorize access only from an account entitled to read the source and create the backup files.

Backup scope and responsibility

The tool exports source files and the manifest to dated ZIP archives. It does not back up all Google account content or every component needed to restore the full program. Administrators must maintain separate backups of registration data, configuration, triggers, forms, and external assets where required, and periodically test restoration.

Availability

Backups depend on Google service availability, quotas, valid authorization, and sufficient storage. A successful manual backup does not guarantee future scheduled runs. The tool is provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or complete recovery. Administrators should review execution failures and backup recency.

Stopping use

An administrator may stop the schedule, revoke authorization, or remove the tool and its archives. Existing backup files remain until deleted. Changes to this tool or these terms should be reflected on this page before materially different use.
